Paul Crawford
Our Principle Consultant is Dr Paul Crawford. Paul's professional focus is on aid effectiveness through applying a ‘soft systems’ approach to monitoring and evaluation. His particular expertise is in the design of M&E arrangements which was the subject of his doctoral studies.
Paul is a practitioner with 12 years of field experience and consulting for international relief and development agencies, government, and corporate clients in 35 countries. He has extensive experience in monitoring & evaluation, project design, project appraisal, needs assessment, strategic planning, project & program management, emergency/humanitarian response program management. Paul has recently contributed to the development of M&E frameworks for AusAID and has been involved in quality assurance reviews on behalf of AusAID in Africa, Southeast and Southern Asia, and the South Pacific.
You will find that he has a broad understanding of the challenges of M&E in international aid and is passionate in his commitment to helping organisations increase the effectiveness of international aid.
Lyndon Voigt
Lyndon's professional focus is on knowledge and information management and ICT management in the devolopment context (ICT4D). He has 7 years experience in software and information system design for international aid organisations (corporate and NGO) in Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia and the South Pacific. He also has extensive experience advising and building web based community of practice (COP) knowledge portals for Australian primary production industries and natural resource management organisations within Australia. He has proven skills as an M&E educator and has made a major contribution to knowledge and practice surrounding M&E information systems. Lyndon has a broad range of skills including: knowledge management systems design, systems architect, software designer, systems analyst/programmer, information technology project manager, system deployment consultant, user enablement trainer, web-solution developer and technical operations manager. His focus for the past 4 years has been on developing a fully configurable monitoring and evaluation information system for international aid organisations. Lyndon has a remarkable ability to conceptualise and design technological solutions to simplify the effectiveness measurement of complex human and organisational processes.
Peter Truscott
Peter has extensive experience in international aid at field and management levels. His professional focus is project design, monitoring and evaluation, and donor management. He has worked as a practitioner and consultant in 25 countries in Africa, Southeast Asia, Central America, North America and the South Pacific for 11 years. He holds a Master of Development Studies from Deakin University in Victoria. Peter has been in senior positions with ADRA including Executive Director for ADRA Australia and the chief of Food Security programs at ADRA International HQ in Washington DC. In recent times he has consulted for AusAID and a number of Australian-based international aid agencies. He has remarkable wisdom and a fine sense of humour.
